Agents are participants of main events that secretly aid the Survivors in their hunt against the Traitors of the event.

Description Edit

Though their nature varies depending on the event and the specific Agent, the most common similarity is their objective. In an event, there will generally be at least two most of the time. At the end of an event's round, at least one Agent will submit an investigations on one of the participants to check if they are a Traitor or not.

The circumstance of each Agent is quite variable, similar to the Traitors. Their ability to discover a Traitor's identity can stem from it being in their power set, an ability granted by a third party like the Coalition, or some other reason.

In The Sovionok Camp Incident, they are also referred to as "Chosen." In Legend of Zelda Extravaganza, the "Mercenary" role has a similar function to the standard Agent, though on top of being able to identify a Traitor, the Mercenaries can instantly kill the identified Traitor if desired. In When the Corpses Cry, they are alternately referred to as "Detectives." In The Time Crisis, they are referred to as "Sentinels."

Like Traitors, the function of the role has come into disuse over time.
