The Second Cell Games

Cell Games Reincarnated is a side story that began on June 29, 2018 and was cancelled on November 8th, 2019. It takes place moments after Pathway to Perfection, where Cell restarts his Cell Games to threaten Earth once more, but with outsider participants. Despite its cancellation, the events of the story remained canon as they were referenced in later on, though the ultimate outcome remains ambiguous. It can be found here.

Following the events of Right Hand of the Magic God, in which Othinus destroys the multiverse and subsequently restores it, she notes that certain events of the old multiverse have been distorted and changed to some degree as a result of having to recreate the entire multiverse on a mass degree, resulting in the new multiverse possessing some changes in relation to the old.

The Second Cell Games began on November 11, 2019, and ended on January 1, 2020. It takes the place of Cell Games Reincarnated in the new multiverse's timeline following the events of Right Hand of the Magic God, covering the same premise but with a mostly new cast to replace the old participants. It can be found here.

Epilogue Details[]

Once Cell was defeated at the hands of the Multiverse Warriors alongside Towa and Mira's defeat at their hands, the planet of Earth was returned to peace once more. After everyone had said their goodbyes, including Pomada kissing Naoto Kurogane on the cheek, the Time Patrollers, Chronoa, Future Trunks and Pomada had returned back to Conton City.

In the Home for Infinite Losers, Cell was locked in a holding cell far away from his prior housing only to be greeted by Abridged Zarbon, in which they had a uncomfortable conversation about why Zarbon could read Frieza's power from him.

In the Demonic Realm, Towa and Mira were contemplating their options to recover when all of a sudden Turles and Lord Slug had appeared. They had plotted behind their backs, with Slug introducing numerous Villainous Mode characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Frieza in his Golden State and an army of Metal Coolers. After obliterating them alongside the Masked Saiyan, Turles revealed Syn Shenron and the Black Star Dragon Balls, planning for Multiversal Domination.

Trivia[]

  • During the prologue of Cell Games Reincarnated, Ben Tennyson achieved three new transformations for his Omnitrix: A Namekian from scanning Dende, a Saiyan from scanning Vegeta, and a Majin from scanning Pomada. He later acquires a Frieza Clansman form by scanning Frieza himself in Chapter 2, thus allowing him access to all four playable non-Earthling races in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse line of games.
  • As a result of the multiverse reset during Right Hand of the Magic God, the events of Cell Games Reincarnated were inadvertently erased from reality, and replaced by the events of The Second Cell Games in the restored multiverse, though the events of Cell Games Reincarnated remain acknowledged, notably by the cast of Right Hand of the Magic God who are able to remember the old multiverse as Othinus allowed them to survive its destruction.
    • For example, Will Vandom is able to retain her memories of the events of Cell Games Reincarnated due to appearing in Right Hand of the Magic God, even though she did not appear in The Second Cell Games. Others such as Ben Tennyson and Mason Moretti, who appeared in both tournaments, are able to recall memories from both tournaments as a result of Othinus's acts.
